Executive Director: Gene McNary

Gene McNary brings over 26 years of public service experience to his position as the commission’s fourth executive director.

Between 1989 and 1993 McNary served as the Commissioner of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service. As the head of that federal agency he led 18,000 employees in administering the country’s immigration laws.

Between 1975 and 1989, McNary served as the St Louis County Executive.

Mr. McNary began his service as executive director of the Missouri Gaming Commission on July 17, 2006.
