MISSOURI GAMING COMMISSION

OPEN SESSION MINUTES

April 1, 2004

 

The Missouri Gaming Commission (the “Commission”) went into open session at approximately 9:00 a.m. on April 1, 2004, at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, St. Louis, Missouri.  Present were Commissioners Bartch, Hinrichs, Gant, Hartsfield and Biele; Executive Director Kevin Mullally; Chief Deputy Director Steve Johnson; Deputy Director Debbie Ferguson; General Counsel Mike Bushmann; Captain Bob Bloomberg; Lieutenants Tim McDonald and Elvin Seals; Sergeants Steve Akridge, George Hamilton, James Bennett and David Leitman; Chief Financial Officer Jim Oberkirsch; Licensing Manager Donna Watson; Public Information Officer Harold Bailey; and Administrative Assistant Angie Franks.

 

Commissioners and staff left the Renaissance St. Louis Airport hotel at approximately 9:00 a.m. on April 1st for site visits in St. Louis and Jefferson Counties.

 

The first site visited was concerning the proposal of Pinnacle Gaming Company which is located in Lemay, Missouri, at approximately 9:15 a.m.

 

Secondly, staff visited the proposed Isle of Capri site at the Jefferson Barracks Bridge at approximately 10:30 a.m.

 

Commissioners and staff then visited the proposed site of Harrah’s which is located at Jefferson Barracks Bridge.

 

At approximately 1:30 a.m., staff and Commissioners visited the proposed site of the Riviera Casino, which is located at the Martin Marietta Quarry in Jefferson County.

 

Commissioner Hartsfield moved to adjourn the open session meeting.  Commissioner Gant seconded the motion and after a roll call vote was taken, the motion unanimously passed.

 

The meeting adjourned at approximately 3:30 p.m.
