MISSOURI GAMING COMMISSION

OPEN SESSION MINUTES

October 9, 2003

 

The Missouri Gaming Commission (the “Commission”) went into open session at approximately 9:00 a.m. on October 9, 2003, in their Jefferson City office. Present were Chairman Bartch, Commissioner Hinrichs and Commissioner Gant; Executive Director Kevin Mullally; Chief Deputy Director Steve Johnson; Deputy Director of Administration Debbie Ferguson; General Counsel Mike Bushmann; Lieutenant Rick Wilhoit; Chief Financial Officer Jim Oberkirsch; Licensing Manager Donna Watson and Administrative Assistant Angie Franks.  In the Kansas City office were Sergeants Gary Baker and Jeff Smith.  In the St. Louis office was Administrative Assistant Debi Gruenberg and Hap Burke of Thompson Coburn.

 

Lieutenant Rick Wilhoit made the presentation regarding Resolution No. 03-075, consideration of relicensure of Bally Gaming, Inc.  Lt. Wilhoit stated that following a background investigation, no issues or concerns were discovered that would preclude licensure of Bally Gaming, Inc. and that Bally Gaming was found to be suitable for relicensing.

 

Commissioner Gant moved to adopt Resolution No. 03-075.  Commissioner Hinrichs seconded the motion and after a roll call vote was taken, Resolution No. 03-075 was unanimously adopted.

 

The next Commission meeting will be held on October 28th at St. Charles City Hall.  A closed session meeting will be held the evening before the meeting.

 

Commissioner Hinrichs moved to adjourn the meeting.  Commissioner Gant seconded the motion and the motion was unanimously passed.

 

The meeting adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
